AMRITSAR: Canada’s High Commissioner, HE Nadir Patel, was welcomed at Sri Harmandir Sahib today. His wife Gahram Patel and daughter were also present on this occasion. Prior to his release at Sri Harmandir Sahib, he also served in Langar at Sri Guru Ramdas Langar and made preparations for preparing food.

At the Harmandir Sahib, he presented a beautiful Rumahala for Guru Sahib. After visiting Sri Harmandir Sahib, he was honored by the President of SGPC by Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal by setting a Golden Model of Golden Temple, Siropa and a set of religious books.

On this occasion, Nadir Patel said that he got peace by hanging himself at Sri Harmandir Sahib. He said that there is good relations between Canada and India and there are many similarities between the two countries. In response to a question, he said that it is a good thing that both the countries are becoming partners in the field of agriculture and education.

He said that while there are a large number of students going to study in India from Canada, the scams of Canada also come from India for education. Patel said on the condition of the Sikhs in Canada that the Sikhs have got a good place with their hard work. There, the Sikh Gurdwara Sahibans are distributing the message of sarb and sanji valta.
